Akinada Bridge

Project Description:
1175 m long with 255 m - 750 m -170 m spans and three continuous spans, two-hinge-type suspension bridge

Akinada Bridge is one of the important bridges to connect mainland Honshu and Akinada Islands. One of design features is that the bridge shows a very slender shape in the width when compared with its span length, and the span lengths of the both sides are different, showing asymmetry in the side view.

Erection design of Counter Balance Tower for cable erection (30m high, 15m long, 3.0m wide, frame type tower structure)
