100 Years, 1000 Drawings: celebrate Elks Tower's centennial with art for California wildfire recovery

Art, architecture, community, and direct recovery support

1000 Drawings is a citywide art exhibition supporting California families displaced by wildfires. Architects, designers, artists, students, and community members are invited to contribute a drawing, simple or sophisticated, which becomes part of a traveling public exhibition.

Drawings are made available through donations, with 100% of drawing proceeds providing direct cash assistance to fire-displaced families most in need.

Why it matters

Families displaced by the January 2025 Los Angeles fires continue to face extraordinary challenges. Many are struggling to keep a roof over their heads.

Your participation can help a family avoid bankruptcy, protect the credit they have left, and stay in temporary housing while they rebuild.

The initiative launches at Elks Tower, with more pop-up art exhibitions planned across Sacramento in the months ahead.
