The Honda Center, previously known as the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, is an indoor ice hockey arena that hosts concerts, basketball and ice hockey games and various other entertainment uses. It seats 17,174 and can be converted into a 8,400-seat amphitheater.

Miyamoto provided a variety of structural engineering services to the Honda Center, including the design of new spotlight projection bays in the existing roof and ceiling structures, design of a new audio system upgrade and the design of the new naming rights signage, all supported by the roof structure. In addition, Miyamoto supplied review and guidance at numerous Honda Center events for requirements in rigging from the 444 x 329-foot roof structure.
