On November 21, DAI Global LLC, the executor of the USAID Project “Economic Support of Ukraine” (USAID Project), signed a subcontract with the US-licensed American engineering company Miyamoto International to improve the transport and logistics infrastructure and modernize the border crossing points of Ukraine.
The company Miyamoto International Ukraine has a team of 128 specialists in the field of engineering, in the office in Ukraine, which will carry out design and quality assurance of construction works at border crossing points (BCPs) of Ukraine.
“Modernization of border crossing points in Ukraine is of great importance in the conditions of modern challenges in the logistics of the export of Ukrainian grain. The Miyamoto Ukraine company has many years of experience, the necessary expertise and talented specialists here in Ukraine, so I am sure that our cooperation will be successful and will bring significant results for the improvement of the economic development of Ukraine and the support of the Ukrainian people,” says Timothy Madigan – Director of the USAID Project “Economic Support of Ukraine”.
Within the framework of the signed subcontract, the company Miyamoto Ukraine will perform a physical-economic and technical-economic feasibility study, prepare preliminary documentation for the design of new cargo terminals at the PPK, as well as provide post-project services for nine priority PPK, which will be improved within the scope of the USAID Project.
