The multi-family project at 2433 Birkdale Street is the construction of a new 37,000-SF, 2-story, 41-unit, above-grade Type-V building along the Los Angeles River Bike Path in one of Los Angeles’ newest “reinvented” neighborhoods, Frogtown, known for its artsy, off-the-grid vibe. The project also includes the conversion of existing butler-type buildings into 27,000 square feet of office space, with new dormer-style windows and mezzanines. The units may potentially serve as live-work units created by converting existing warehouses into office space.
