Miyamoto International is working with Another Planet Entertainment (APE) to bring this new two-story live music venue to Sacramento on the southwestern corner of the 24th and R streets. The 42,800-SF structure, which will be comprised of CMU walls and composite steel-framed roof and floor levels, is expected to seat approximately 2,345 people. Our structural design features a 20-foot cantilever for tier seating with tuned mass dampers to control mode one vibrations caused by dancing, in addition to a custom 100-foot long-span truss along the ceiling. Established in 2003, APE is the only independent, locally owned and operated, full-service concert production company in San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. They have been named “Top Independent Promoter” in the USA by Billboard Magazine for the past three years, evidencing their expertise in operating and promoting concerts—a welcome addition to Sacramento’s bustling music scene and nightlife.
