Miyamoto International performed a structural evaluation and developed seismic retrofit design for this historic barn structure utilizing the California Historical Building Code. The finalized structural design for this structure incorporated out-of-plane foundation wall anchorage, strengthening of the walls from the interior side, strengthening of diaphragms and repair or replacement of deteriorated elements.
