Miyamoto International was selected by Naturgy to perform a structural analysis and redesign of the support system for the interconnection pipe in EcoEléctrica’s site. This pipe transports natural gases from the production plant to the loading dock. The support system is made of steel and takes into account the following loads: weight, earthquake and wind. Using the load calculations, our engineers analyzed the design to ensure it is compliant with the client’s updated building code requirements. In addition to the analysis, our engineers provided designs for concrete foundations and protective steel barriers that provide further protection against wind loads.
