Miyamoto International conducted structural evaluations on 19 two-story wood residential apartment buildings and several single-story ancillary buildings per the University of California Seismic Safety Policy procedures. The report established a seismic rating for each building and recommendations for further actions, including retrofits. After the evaluations, the team presented the structural findings and recommendations to the UC Seismic Review Board to establish timelines for mitigation recommendations based on hazard priorities. As a result, the work was completed with minimal impact on housing and met the requirements of the UC Seismic Safety Policy.
