Miyamoto provided tenant improvement services to an existing tilt-up building owned by a grocery delivery service company. The client brought Miyamoto on to the team to prepare the slab for a 7,975-SF walk-in freezer and to provide engineering solutions for the support of the cooler/freezer walls and ceilings. We also provided support for the mechanical units above and below the roof to keep the 44,482-SF cooler area, along with the freezer area, at the necessary temperatures to maintain the freshness of the product.
