The 150,000 sqm. development is a high specification residential towers in Surabaya, Indonesia. Phase 1 comprises 3 over 50-storey towers linked with skybridges at two levels. The structural and construction challenges included very high seismic forces, extremely soft ground up to 20m below existing ground. Various options were studied for optimization, including studies on structurally linked and unlinked towers and the impact on the two schemes on structural reinforcement tonnage.
