Integrated Care Center Huntington Beach

Integrated Care Center Huntington Beach

The new Integrated Care Center was initiated by Hoag Medical Group to create a more efficient, flexible facility that adapts to the changing healthcare landscape and provides more accessible specialized services to the residents of Huntington Beach. The three-story building offers urgent care, physical therapy, diagnostics, orthopedics, pediatrics, a primary care clinic, an education/wellness center, pharmacy and a comprehensive imaging department. The layout makes the traditional primary care model easier to navigate with amenities such as centralized check-in areas on each floor. Miyamoto provided structural design for the steel-framed medical office building which is located on a high-profile boulevard. The lateral-force resisting system is slotted-web steel moment resisting frames to reduce steel tonnage while providing improved moment-frame performance. The project was also designed to meet LEED-CS certification.
