Legado de Ravel, a $23 million housing project in Downtown Sacramento, is the last of its kind to be funded by CADA using Sacramento’s Redevelopment funds. This market-rate, residential/commercial mixed-use housing project designed by Stantec Architects consists of two buildings on adjacent corners of 16th and O streets.
The five-story structure features ground-level parking beneath a mildly reinforced, cast-in-place concrete podium supporting four stories of wood-framed apartments above. The four-story structure features ground-level parking beneath a CMU podium supporting three stories of wood-framed apartments above. Both structures are supported by improved soils using Geopiers, or rammed aggregate piers. The luxury, Spanish-style flats are close to fine dining, trendy night spots, neighborhood parks and the state capitol.
