MARRS (Midtown Arts Retail Restaurant Scene) is a mixed-use development located in the beautiful Midtown area of downtown Sacramento. This former moving and storage facility from the 1940s underwent a significant retrofit and renovation, setting off a trend of such spaces in Sacramento at the time. The multi-story building is now a modern complex housing retail shops; office space; restaurants, such as Lounge on 20; a yoga studio; a comedy club and the Solomon Dubnick Gallery. The building is bordered by a boardwalk and entertainment plaza, which is widely used during events, such as the Second Saturday Art Walk and Midtown’s Saturday morning Farmer’s Market.
