Otay Logistics Center is a 15-acre site in San Diego consisting of two industrial buildings. Miyamoto International developed the structural design for the hybrid roof construction that rests on top of the single-story, tilt-up buildings founded on conventional continuous and isolated concrete pad footings. The single-multi-tenant industrial buildings designate 95 percent of their space to warehouse storage, with the remaining space designated to a two-story office. The use of high-efficiency tilt wall panels provides an attractive but low maintenance exterior.
