This 850,000-square-foot concrete tilt-up warehouse is located on a 58-acre site within the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center in Nevada. The overall plan is designed to accommodate an additional 200,880 square feet for future expansion. The building incorporates a narrow aisle design with automated high bay storage and racking, a three-tier module conveying system that provides loading and unloading to dock door locations. The tilt-up construction features layered panels with a neutral color scheme to separate massing and add interest to the building facade. The main corner entry is highlighted by storefront glass with an overhead glass canopy and a fly wall to the side held by truncated columns covered in native-colored stone. Francis Lo acted as structural engineer on this project.
