Designed by Miyamoto Italia, the Satama Hotel is a resort-style, boutique hotel in Cap-Haitien with 60 guest rooms, a lobby, conference center and restaurant situated on landscaped grounds overlooking Cap-Haitien. Miyamoto provided the structural design and construction quality assurance services to the project for the structural shell. The project location presented unique construction challenges due to the steep site, which required creative construction techniques to meet structural and geotechnical needs.
