Miyamoto Turkey provided a structural earthquake performance assessment, including a preliminary retrofit design, for Shell’s Product Depot Building at the Izmit Derince plant. The subject product depot hangar was constructed in 1963 as a prefabricated reinforced concrete structure covered by steel roof.
