Siemens requested that Miyamoto Turkey perform a preliminary seismic evaluation of the engine maintenance workshop in Adana, Turkey. The main purpose of the task was to evaluate the seismic vulnerability of the structures currently rented by Siemens. The facilities consisted of different types of buildings such as precast, reinforced concrete and steel. Each building was evaluated according to related checklists. 3D models of the structures were built for linear analysis purposes to understand the overall behavior of the structural system.
