We are providing structural engineering services to develop an implementation strategy with code-based representations to gain jurisdictional approval of installations for the Solyndra Isolated Solar Array (SISA) roof-mounted system. These representations are supported by appropriate foundational analyses and test data, suitable for submittal to and acceptance by multiple building jurisdictional agencies. The strategy will allow for future approach modifications to be incorporated into the Solyndra Design Guideline Document. This approach will identify an easy, standardized delivery model to achieve the best possible economies of scale, potentially gaining pre-approval status for repetitive installations within targeted jurisdictions.
