Southwestern College’s DeVore Stadium has been dramatically upgraded to not only be one of the nicest community college football facilities in the country, but now rivals some Division I universities. The 58,000-SF, 4-story field house classroom building features a 150-seat lecture hall that cantilevers beyond the building footprint using giant steel trusses. Challenged with a complex site, the team provided unique solutions to deal with multi-story retaining walls and diversion of ground water.
