The Roebbelen Center At the Grounds Event Center

The Roebbelen Center At the Grounds Event Center

Formerly called the Placer County Fairgrounds, The Roebbelen Center @ the Grounds is the largest event center of its kind in the Greater Sacramento area, boasting 49-foot ceilings and 250 feet of column-free clear spans, making it the ideal venue for tournaments, trade shows, festivals and graduations. The 160,000-SF event center can seat up to 6,000 people and has the largest maple wood floor in California, accommodating 12 basketball courts or 24 volleyball courts. The center includes a 10,000-SF lobby, flexible meeting rooms, offices, a training room and a loading dock serving 12,000-SF of storage.

The design team was able to go from groundbreaking to grand opening in 13 months, finishing ahead of schedule and staying on budget. The phased plan included renovations of existing buildings, interior and exterior upgrades, a new marquee sign and ticketing stations, resulting in a top-notch events venue for Placer Valley.
