This 3-story building was converted from an old shoe factory building to an IT and telecommunications center for Turkcell GSM Operations. A major seismic retrofit design project and architectural design project was prepared. The retrofit project included additional earthquake shear walls, reinforcement of slabs and the foundation system. The architectural design project was designed in accordance with the new structural system.
