The Workshop and Distributor Hangar Buildings of Volvo were the existing facilities of the client’s operation center in the Merter district. The workshop building needed to be assessed due to an increased level of very heavy service loads, such as crawler-type vehicles. The Distributor Hangar facility building was a depot building with structural deficiencies observed in the structural service. Both facilities were assessed for rehabilitation purpose due to observed weakness. Miyamoto Turkey provided a performance assessment, structural design, technical specification, tender documents and construction supervision services to upgrade the existing facilities.
