The Çorum Public Hospital (with 650-bed capacity) was designed as a seismically isolated reinforced concrete structure. The complex is composed of 13 unit blocks connected to each other on the same diaphragm. The project included a site-specific seismic hazard analysis and a seismic isolation system design for (LRB type) 741 ea isolators. The scope of services also included accompanying the isolator prototype tests and consulting in the Structural Health Monitoring System configuration.
