Elizabeth Petheo is well known for creating and executing world-class international development programs and initiatives. Widely respected across the public and private sectors, she brings more than 15 years of extensive experience in risk management and reduction, livelihood development, shelter and settlements, the identification of growth opportunities, partnership development, government relations and policy analysis and diverse stakeholder engagement.

A former World Bank official, Petheo is known for leading high-profile initiatives in complex global environments. Elizabeth has successfully led a $45 million development operation in post-earthquake Haiti, a complex multimillion-dollar post-Asian Tsunami relief program during the active civil war in Sri Lanka and throughout her career, deftly negotiated multiple business relationships with executives, foreign government officials, and leaders in civil society in Kenya, Hungary and other international and national environments

Petheo also brings deep experience in regulatory compliance, public/private partnerships, best practices, and international standard-setting in sustainable development, the mitigation of social and environmental risks in international development, and the identification and facilitation of joint ventures in emerging markets.
