This week’s Japan-Ukraine Conference yielded over 12 vital cooperation agreements to advance private sector participation in Ukraine’s reconstruction following the Russian aggression. The accords covered areas spanning infrastructure redevelopment, energy, transport, and more.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal expressed deep gratitude for Japan’s steadfast support and direct involvement in rebuilding efforts. Both sides agreed that maintaining sanctions on Russia remains crucial.

Additionally, Miyamoto Ukraine expanded ties with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Japanese companies to restore Ukraine’s devastated communities. With Japan’s post-disaster reconstruction know-how and advanced technologies paired with on-the-ground expertise, Miyamoto Ukraine is poised to play an integral role in getting Ukraine back on its feet sustainably.
