Pacific Coast Collection is an industrial park consisting of four new, single-story, concrete tilt-up buildings on a 25.1-acre site. Miyamoto worked hands-on with HPA Architecture and the developer, McDonald Property Group, in the development and design of the buildings. The single and multi-tenant office/warehouse buildings boast clearance heights up to 30 feet while adhering to a city requirement to cap the wall height at 35 feet. While a majority of the buildings are designated as single-story warehouse, each building has a creative two-story office for each tenant. For the two-story offices, Miyamoto mixed materials, integrating steel columns and beams into glass entries and framing concrete panels with steel plates.
