Miyamoto provided structural engineering services for the demolition, renovation and new construction of Mission Elementary School in Oceanside, California. The 43,562-SF project required the modernization of nine classroom buildings, a library and multi-purpose/ food service building. New construction consisted of a student services building, two kindergarten buildings and the installation of three modular classroom buildings. Site work on the 5.1-acre property included a new bus drop-off and kindergarten and elementary playgrounds.
