I have 20+ years of structural engineering experience highlights a wide variety of building types and market sectors, including high-density multifamily, mixed-use, healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, parking structures, hospitality, entertainment, seismic upgrades, and government.

Everything outdoors. I loved traveling pre-pandemic, but now I’ve taken up more local activities including golf, running, and biking.

I purposefully had one sideburn in college for a year.

My everyday goal at work is to always continue to learn and grow in the profession, anything from my communication skills to technical skills. Also, to push myself outside my comfort zone more since that is how you learn and become more comfortable with what you might think is scary.

I’m passionate about French fries or anything with potatoes (except potato salad!)

My pre-covid hobby was playing soccer which has since been banned! My hobby now is spending time with my dogs, Leia and Obi (Obi was our covid puppy who is almost 100lbs now!). My summer hobby is being out on the lake wakeboarding.

- My dog has more followers than I do on social media
- I listen and sing along to Spanish music (I love Selena!) but I don’t know Spanish
- I laugh in awkward situations, it’s my defense mechanism (ie. Invasive Covid test? LAUGH ABOUT IT)
- I dressed up in 3 different costumes for 2020 even though I had no Halloween parties to attend

My determination and dedication to projects and the client. I’m constantly looking to how to be more efficient on both the technical and management side of a project. Plus I’m patient and pretty easy going.
What are your goals?
Trying to increase the bar for project revenues, continuing to build positive client relationships, and always learning something new.
What is your passion?
Investing time with my family and close friends. I’m also passionate about carne asada fries.
What are your hobbies?
Playing guitar, hiking, surfing, but mostly golf. With the COVID quarantine I’ve picked up woodworking as a new hobby, and I’m slowly becoming a DIY expert.
What are some interesting facts about you?
Born and raised in San Diego, my wife and I got a little puppy during quarantine named Luna, and I’ve been skydiving in the Swiss Alps.
